How this display works

Every design is a structurally different composition, not just another color. Switch with arrow keys or swipe, open Settings for seconds, time format and the text-color palette, and press F for fullscreen. When a mobile browser blocks native fullscreen, Desmarto opens the same design in an immersive browser view instead. Choices are stored only on this device.

What is Countdown Timer?

Point at a real moment and watch the remaining time breathe — cinematic segments or a calm milestone.

Countdown Timer counts down to a date and time you choose, stored locally on this device. Days, hours, minutes and seconds are composed as large segments (Cinematic) or as a quiet milestone with progress context (Calm).

Best for

  • Deadlines, launches, exams and release days
  • Events, trips and celebrations on a room display
  • Keeping one meaningful date visible on a spare screen

How to use it

  1. Open the page and set the target date and time in Settings.
  2. The segments update every second; the target is remembered locally.
  3. Switch designs anytime — the target carries over.

Devices

Cinematic suits TVs and wall displays; Calm Milestone suits desk monitors and tablets.

Customization

Target date/time, seconds precision, Light/Dark, favorite, text-color palette.

Fullscreen behavior

Fullscreen turns the countdown into a room centerpiece. Escape returns here with the countdown running.

Honest limitations

One countdown at a time per device, days-first precision; for recurring intervals use Focus Timer.

Frequently asked questions

Is my target date saved?

Yes — in this browser's local storage. It survives reloads on the same device.

What happens when the countdown reaches zero?

The scene acknowledges the moment truthfully and holds at zero instead of rolling into negative nonsense.

Can I count down more than 99 days?

Yes — the day segment expands as needed and the layout protects it from overlapping other units.

Does it handle timezones?

The target is interpreted in your local civil time, exactly as entered.

Can I run it on a projector for an event?

Yes — fullscreen, hide controls, and the Cinematic design reads across a hall.
