How this display works

Every design is a structurally different composition, not just another color. Switch with arrow keys or swipe, open Settings for seconds, time format and the text-color palette, and press F for fullscreen. When a mobile browser blocks native fullscreen, Desmarto opens the same design in an immersive browser view instead. Choices are stored only on this device.

What is Online Clock?

Five deliberately different live clock compositions in one tab — from an editorial light layout to a dark precision instrument.

Online Clock is the foundation display of the studio: a precise, always-current clock rendered locally in your browser. There is nothing to configure before it is useful — open the page and it shows correct local time, with five structurally different designs you can switch with arrow keys, swipe, or the on-screen controls.

  • A permanent clock tab next to your daily tools
  • A quickly glanceable reference while entering time elsewhere
  • Choosing one favorite design and keeping it as your default

How to use it

  1. Open the page — the live clock starts immediately.
  2. Use ← / → arrow keys, the arrow buttons, or a horizontal swipe to move between the five designs.
  3. Open Settings to toggle seconds and the 12/24-hour format; your choices are remembered on this device.
  4. Press F or the Fullscreen button for a room-filling clock; Escape returns to the page.

Devices

Works on desktop, laptop, tablet and phone. Calm Rail and Calm Minimal read best on wider screens; Precision Line and Quiet Field suit dark rooms and OLED displays.

Customization

Seconds, 12/24-hour format, Light/Dark per scene, a default design (favorite), a curated text-color palette, and on supported scenes a local background image with fit, focus, dim, blur and contrast controls.

Fullscreen behavior

Fullscreen hides the website chrome and keeps only the clock. Escape or the exit control returns you to this page — you never lose your selected design.

Privacy

If you add a background photo, it is processed and stored only in this browser (IndexedDB) and is never uploaded anywhere.

Honest limitations

Online Clock intentionally shows time only — no weather, alarms or timers. For countdowns use Countdown Timer; for world times use World Clock.

Frequently asked questions

Does the clock tick in real time?

Yes. The engine updates every second (or faster in seconds-on designs), synced to your device's clock and timezone.

Are my settings saved?

Your format, seconds, theme, favorite design and text color are saved in this browser's local storage — no account, no sync.

Can I switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time?

Yes — open Settings and choose 12h or 24h. The choice applies to every design and persists.

Why do designs have different Light/Dark defaults?

Each design was art-directed with a preferred theme. You can flip any design between Light and Dark at any time from the dock toggle.

Can I set Online Clock as my home tab?

Many people do — bookmark the page or pin the tab; your chosen design and settings will be waiting.
