Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between paid and unpaid breaks?

Paid breaks count toward your working hours. Unpaid breaks are deducted from gross hours to calculate paid hours.

What if my break is longer than my work hours?

The calculator validates that your break duration doesn't exceed total work hours. You'll see an error if it does.

Can I use AM/PM format?

Yes. The parser accepts both 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

How are monthly/yearly estimates calculated?

Weekly = daily × 5. Monthly = daily × 20. Yearly = daily × 260.
