How It Works
Each entry is calculated as end minus start time. Unpaid breaks are deducted from the total. The result shows net payable hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are work hours calculated?
Each time entry is calculated independently. The total gross hours are summed, then unpaid breaks are deducted to get net payable hours.
Can I track multiple shifts per day?
Yes. Add multiple entries for split shifts. Each entry is calculated separately and combined.
How are overnight shifts handled?
Enable 'Crosses midnight' when your shift ends after midnight. 24 hours are added to the end time.
What's the difference between paid and unpaid breaks?
Paid breaks count toward your working hours — they are not deducted. Unpaid breaks reduce your total.
How are decimal hours calculated?
Decimal hours = total minutes ÷ 60. For example, 7 hours 30 minutes = 7.5 decimal hours.
Can I add breaks to each entry?
Breaks apply to the entire day, not individual entries. Add all breaks that apply to your shift.
