Formula

Net Hours = Σ(Clock Out − Clock In − Unpaid Breaks) per Day

Each day's net hours are calculated by summing all entries and subtracting unpaid breaks. Weekly totals are the sum of all daily net hours.

Example: Standard Work Week

Monday – Friday entries09:00 → 17:00 (8h gross)
Daily lunch break (unpaid)30m
Net per day7h 30m
Result37h 30m total net hours for the week

Tips

  • Add multiple entries per day if you have split shifts.
  • Unpaid breaks reduce daily net hours; paid breaks don't.
  • Longest and shortest days are highlighted in insights.
  • Monthly and yearly estimates are based on the current week × 4 and × 52.
  • Export to CSV for payroll or personal records.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I track a week with varying hours?

Simply add each day and enter the actual clock in/out times. Every day can have different hours and different numbers of entries.

How are monthly and yearly estimates calculated?

Monthly = weekly total × 4. Yearly = weekly total × 52. These are rough estimates and actual hours will vary.

Can I use AM/PM format?

Yes. The parser accepts both 12-hour and 24-hour format. The output toggle only controls display.

Can I share my timesheet?

Yes. Click 'Share Link' to copy a URL with all your data. Anyone with the link can view the same timesheet.

What happens if I have multiple entries on one day?

All entries for a day are summed to calculate gross hours. Breaks apply to the whole day.
