Frequently Asked Questions
How does midnight crossing work?
When clock out is earlier than clock in, the calculator assumes the shift crosses midnight and adds 24 hours to the end time.
Does this calculate shift-differential pay?
No. Shift type is an informational category only. Any pay differential depends on the employer, agreement, applicable law, and jurisdiction and is not calculated by this tool.
Can I add multiple breaks?
